We need noisy fans in numbers to get behind the Shakers as they face Glossop North End in their 21st match of the season. Yes, we are indeed, still the mighty Shakers. Yes, we are unbeaten. And yes, we did beat North End 4-2 away three weeks ago. But the 5-1 win at Longridge on Saturday flattered us. Without Mitch Allen’s heroics in saving two out of three penalties it might have been a very different story. The 900 fans who made the journey up the M6 will have been delighted with

Following discussions amongst the board & management team, it was felt that our recent cup successes coupled with the Finnish weather, it would be difficult to arrange a date before the first round concludes in December. We understand that this might come as a disappointment to supporters, but we have taken this decision in the best interest of the football club. View the full article
